Calling for Final Year ICT Students OR Recent 2009 Graduates to join INFOSYS FOUNDATION PROGRAM

Ministry of Higher Education & Multimedia Development Corporation in collaboration with Infosys Technologies Limited, one of India's largest IT services company, invite students to participate in a training programme which aims to develop industry-ready knowledge workers by aligning the needs of industry with the talent pool generated by institutions of higher learning (IHL).

Under the programme, students will be given exposure to Infosys best practices in an effort to create a pool of highly capable talent to meet the growth requirement of the IT industry. The well-tested and successful training courseware designed by Infosys will be shared with entry level students who on completion will be better prepared to work on real-life customer projects.

The training programme will be extensive hands-on exercises and focus on J2EE stream. This is the same courseware used by Infosys to prepare their new recruits to global industry-ready standard.


WHO CAN APPLY?
1. Malaysian
2. Final year students OR recent graduates (2009) from Information Technology/Computer Science faculties (also open to Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering students)
3. Have achieved minimum CGPA of 2.75 in the last semester examination
4. Interested in building career in Software Development


HOW TO REGISTER?
- Registration can be done via website http://www.myinfosysalumni.org/register
- Closing date for registration is on 22nd February 2010 (date updated)
- Applicants should proceed to designated test centres on 24th February 2010 (date updated)
- The test centre will be determined by dean office.The test starts at 9.00am
- The test consists of English essay, Aptitude & Logic test, and interview
- Successful candidates will be notified via Single Point of Contact (SPoC) of each university by 9th March 2010 (date updated)
